So, I Had a Birthday..

So, anyway, I had a birthday... It was great! I am now 24 years old. That doesn't seem very old to me, so I don't see why everyone keeps making a big deal about it. 24 seems better to me than 23, which I always had trouble remembering. I don't mind that I'm almost 25 and close to 30. That doesn't seem very old to me anymore either. Isn't it funny how that happens? I totally remember when 30 was old, 40 was ancient and anything above that made you a grand parent for sure. Now I think if your under 18 your a baby, under 21 a kid. I think that the rest of your twenties is when you prove to yourself that you NEVER knew shit about shat when you were 18. I think that thirty is when your life starts to level out the way you spent your twenties trying to get it to. At least that's what I hope. I'll probably turn 30 and realize I didn't know shit about shat when I was in my twenties either! Here's to another year older, hopefully wiser.
