100 Things About Me

So I've seen these on other Blogs and thought, What the hell? I could do that! So I did.


1.I am an adopted child
2.Most people don’t know how to handle me telling them that
3.I would rather people ask me questions about it than make assumptions
4.My brother is not adopted
5.That does not change the fact that he is my brother
6.We have both pushed someone to the ground for saying otherwise
7.I am the same weight I was when I graduated high school
8.I don’t, however, wear the same size
9.I have been the same height since 1998
10.I wish that I didn’t have freckles
11.I’m scared of spiders
12.I miss summer vacation
13.But not school
14.I have been married for almost three years
15.We got separated for a while
16.It worked out for the best in the end
17.I am not as over it as I pretend to be
18.I want to be a mother sooner than later
19.I have never changed a diaper in my life
20.I would never have my kids’ names rhyme or start with the same letter or whatever to make them seem themed
21.Because that’s stupid and mean
22.I will not name my kid “Peter” so he can be “Peter Parker”
23.Because that’s stupid and mean
24.I don’t actually drink coffee
25.But I can make it
26.I really liked working at Starbucks
27.I did not like trying to pay bills with the paychecks
28.I miss tip money
29.I don’t like paying with my card, I prefer to use cash
30.I almost never bother with exact change though
31.I tend to run my mouth a lot
32.When I take the time to carefully word my response it doesn’t mean that I’m worried about what you’ll think of it
33.Just that I want to be sure I say exactly what I mean
34.The worst thing someone can do to me is lie to me
35.I hate liars
36. I sing my heart out when I am alone in the car
37.I don’t care if everyone at the red light notices
38.I don’t smoke pot
39.But I think that if you do, you should still be able to get a decent job
40.My husband and I were friends long before we started dating
41.So we have witnessed each other’s “when I was young and didn’t know better i.e. didn’t care” stories. And use them as ammo. It’s funny
42.I have more ammo to use than he does. That’s funny too
43.I get more angry when some hurts a person that I care about than when some one does something hurtful to me
44.Naptime is a good time
45.Energy drinks are my friends
46.I smoke clove cigarettes
47.And only clove cigarettes
48.Contrary to popular belief, they DO NOT make your lungs bleed
49.That is an old wives tale and it’s crap
50.I think that “comfortable silence” is under appreciated
51.Then again so is good conversation
52.I really do think laughter is medicine
53.Forgiveness is important
54.But forgetfulness can be damaging
55.Hate is a strong word that is used too freely sometimes
56.So is Love
57.It is impossible for me to take a shower that doesn’t end in no more hot water
58.This is why my family always made me shower last
59.I REALLY like the Harry Potter books
60.I go to fan sites and everything
61.But I don’t participate on them, just read what others have to say
62.I know that this absolves me very little from my dorkdom
63.I can’t wait until book six comes out (9 days!)
64.I know, I know, DORK
65. I laugh until I cry often
66.I think of that as a good thing
67.I still wish on shooting stars
68.And before I blow out my birthday candles
69.I spent my 16th birthday in New Orleans
70.I now know what the word “Humid” really means
71.My birthday is July 24th
72.I will be 24 years old
73.I hope my friends come to my party this year
74.Unlike last year when only, like, two people came

76.I think tomatoes and pickles ruin a perfectly good cheeseburger

81.It took me three years to work up the nerve to pierce my belly button

84.The Phantom Of The Opera was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen
85.The Lion King was pretty amazing as well
86.Who is “Bill”? And why does he take so much of my money?
87.Why do people do the Chicken Dance at their WEDDINGS?!?!
88.Oktoberfest is the only place I tolerate the Chicken Dance
89.I DID NOT have the stupid Chicken Dance at my wedding
90.I never cried at weddings before I got married
91.Now I get misty
92.I pick up accents very easily
93.I’m afraid people will think I’m mocking them when I do it
94.But I can’t help it, I just fall into it, and then do a, probably very bad, job of trying to cover up what I just did
95.Which probably makes it more obvious and seem more like mocking than when I originally opened my mouth
96.I don’t think your first love ever truly leaves you
97.Just because you love someone does not mean you have to like them very much right now
98.This list was much harder than I thought it would be
99.And took much longer than I thought it would
